Chief Technical Officer
As a Professional Electrical Engineer in the province of Ontario Feisal has worked on high reliability and mission critical projects from military, aerospace and transportation to consumer and commercial touch panels and industrial process controls. Starting his carrier in welding automation and robots and design of high power switched reluctance motors - Feisal went on to manage the IT infrastructure for the Ontario Government and later the JSF F35 program at Honeywell Aerospace. This diverse knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit led him to start his own automation device company in early 2000s as he witnessed a growing need in the shop floor automation space for network connected, error-proofing devices and industry's need to collecting vital manufacturing data in the modern factory.
Chief Operating Office
Barry Papoff joined ARCX as COO in 2013, with responsibility for manufacturing, supply chain, customer fulfillment, and business affairs. Working with the management team to put in place the people, processes, and systems to scale the company for growth, ARCX has since manufactured and shipped tens of thousands of devices, installed in hundreds of facilities across North America and internationally, operating 24/7/365. Prior to joining ARCX, Barry held senior management roles in technology start-ups as well as publicly-traded companies. Barry was VP Operations at Encelium Technologies, acquired by Siemens/Osram; prior to that he was VP Engineering at Leitch Technologies and the BCD Division of Harris Corp., and previously Barry was co-founder of Baranti Group Inc, a Deloitte Fast 50 & Profit 100 winner, acquired by Artaflex Inc. Barry holds a B.Tech in Engineering from Ryerson University, an MBA from California State University, and is certified in Lean/6-Sigma from McGill University.
Ange Di Filippo
Chief Financial Officer
Ange joined ARCX in 2014 as Chief Financial Officer. Ange Di Filippo is an experienced chartered professional accountant (CPA-Canada) and business consultant with over 25 years of experience. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto (1979) and became a chartered professional accountant with Price Waterhouse in 1984. Ange spent 11 years with Price Waterhouse, including 3 years in their Milan, Italy office specializing in M & A transactions. After leaving public practice he established ADF Consulting, through which Ange has been providing fulltime and/or consulting CFO duties for a number of emerging technology companies. Most recently he was the CFO for Encelium Technologies where he managed the company's finances from inception through to its sale to Siemens/Osram.
Selected Past Accomplishments:
- Facilitated the raising of over $100 million (debt & equity) in both Canada and the USA for early stage Companies
- Integrated the accounting and reporting departments resulting from a $300 million acquisition of a US subsidiary
- Participated in the negotiations and then led the due diligence team in the sale of a Company that he managed (finance, HR, admin & IT) from start up to over 100 employees
Chief Software Architect
Andrew joined ARCX in 2004 and has designed a wide range of software that runs on embedded systems, PCs, and servers. He has worked with bare-metal and RTOS driven microcontrollers, written device drivers and board support for Linux-based systems, written, used and contributed to user-space libraries (including open source libraries), and has written and managed deployment of web applications. This broad experience makes his well suited to design full-stack systems. Prior to ARCX, Andrew worked on device drivers at Nvidia and mission critical software in the transport automation industry. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
Software Team Leader
Jonathan Stiles joined ARCX in 2017 as the Software Team Leader and brings over 15 years of MES and software integration/development experience. Working with the software team to develop solutions, Jonathan builds and maintains strong relationships with clients and various stakeholders to turn proposals into reality for projects as large as $1 Million. Prior to joining ARCX, Jonathan has years of experience working with market leaders in the manufacturing industry, including the big-three automotive companies and multinational companies such as Toyota, Caterpillar and Exxonmobil (ESSO).
Senior Product Specialist
Phil joined ARCX Inc. in 2018 as Senior Product Specialist. Phil Chenier has over 25 years of electrical and control system design, programming, and commissioning experience. He has an Electronics Engineering Technology diploma from the DeVry Institute of Technology (1991). Over his 25+ years of manufacturing expertise he has successfully commissioned systems in Canada, United States, Mexico, Japan, Malaysia, Syria, Saudi Arabia, France, Scotland, Sweden, Turkey, China, and Russia. During his 18 years with Soft Design Automation Phil became a recognized subject matter expert in molded fiber technologies. In technology Phil has gained experience with PLC's and PAC's from Omron, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Toyopuc, and Rockwell Automation. Phil's management experience includes Engineering Manager, and General Manager (Soft Design Automation Inc.) and Branch Manager (JMP Solutions). Prior to joining the ARCX team, Phil has been an end user of the ARCX hardware while supporting Toyota Motor Manufacturing Inc. for the past 6 years. In his spare time Phil enjoys python programming as an active member of the F.O.S.S. community in addition to spending time with his wife and daughter.

Go-Karts and Annual BBQ (Aug, 2018)
ARCX staff, family and friends enjoyed our annual trip to Polson Pier for an afternoon of go-karting, capped off by a beach BBQ.

ARCX staff entered the void, raced formula 1 cars and enjoyed an afternoon of arcade games at The Rec Room.

ARCX staff, family and friends participated in a scavenger hunt challenge at the Ontario Science Centre and ended the day with dinner Mongolian Grill.
